Discover the Mass General Brigham Health Plan Wellness Hub

Getting started with the wellness hub is simple—and it’s designed around you. Here, you’ll unlock a personalized experience with recommended activities, easy-to-understand health resources, and tools to support your well-being. Whether you’re looking to build healthier habits, learn more about a condition, or stay motivated with challenges, the wellness hub brings everything together in one place to help you take charge of your health.

Getting started

If you’re new to the wellness hub, begin by signing into the Member Portal at member.mgbhp.org. If you aren’t already a Member Portal user, you’ll need to register first to create an account. It’s quick and easy. Just have your member ID handy, as you’ll need to enter your member ID number.

Once you’re logged into the Member portal, you can click on the wellness hub. You’ll have immediate access to a complete health library of content, including more than 600 videos featuring everything from mindful meditation and yoga techniques to heart disease and diabetes management. For a more personalized experience with recommended content, complete a health profile. This assessment will ask you to specific questions to learn more about your health status.

Some examples:

  • medical conditions
  • social determinants of health
  • lifestyle habits
  • physical activity
  • eating habits.

Once you complete your health profile, the wellness hub will populate personalized resources and recommendations to support healthier choices that help you meet your health goals.

Welcome to your new well-being program experience

The wellness hub is designed to help you live your healthiest life with a personalized action plan. Once you’re logged in, you can explore recommended activities, curated by your health profile, along with our health library. The library offers easy-to-understand explanations of medical conditions, symptoms, tests, and treatments. This includes:

  • health decision tools
  • health video library
  • symptom checker
  • health topic search

You can also explore the health education section for video lessons, organized by courses, to help you feel your best. This content is free for eligible Mass General Brigham Health Plan members. For example:

  • diabetes management
  • hypertension
  • nutrition
  • stress management
  • behavioral health
  • substance-use
  • parenting
  • elder care

“If you’re already working with a health coach—the wellness hub is a great supplement for additional support. Let’s say you’re a member working with a health coach on healthy eating habits. On the days you’re not meeting with your coach, you can visit the wellness hub for additional tips on following through with those healthy habit goals,” says Lisa Perea, Senior Health Coach at Mass General Brigham Health Plan.

Take charge of your health

By staying active on the wellness hub, you can regularly access lessons tailored to your needs, habits to get started with, and challenges to help your progress. There are new challenges every quarter. Each challenge comes with milestones that can be adjusted by your pace. For example, a hydration challenge will help you incorporate more water throughout the day to help you feel refreshed. You might start small by adding a glass of water one week, and perhaps adding electrolytes to the water the following week.

You can also connect your profile with your phone, or even a Fitbit or a Garmin. You can connect the tracker by clicking connect within the wellness hub.

“If you’re enrolled in a challenge, visit the wellness hub daily to track your progress. This is also a good way to stay motivated to complete the challenge. But visit as often as you like, whether that’s weekly or monthly. It’s a great way to hold yourself accountable, track how you’re, make the most out of the free resources that come with this tool,” says Lisa-Beth Doyle, Manager of Coordinated Care Support Services at Mass General Brigham Health Plan
