According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), nearly half of all adults in the United States have a chronic condition. Financial impediments represent a significant barrier to access of chronic care services.

AllWays Health Partners has developed the Care Complement program to give members the flexibility to try alternatives to opioid painkillers and new treatments for managing chronic conditions – all at no additional cost to them.

By removing financial barriers and making access to treatments and preventative services easier, members are encouraged to seek the most efficient and effective care first.

Care Complement benefits include:

• First 6 chiropractic visits
• First 6 acupuncture visits
• Pain-management therapies
• First 6 physical/occupational therapy visits
• Cardiac rehab therapy
• Services that decrease diabetes complications including an annual routine eye exam, diabetic education, and nutritional counseling
• Medication-assisted therapy office visits and prescriptions to treat substance use
• Recovery coaching
• 11 common prescription medications to treat depression, heart conditions, and high blood pressure
